I kinda do too. they were super nice looking before the sun and pavement got to them.
I just took one of those kitchen scrubber pads (one attached to a sponge would work great) and some dish soap. tomorrow night I'll hit that suit up with some Feibings Aussie leather conditioner stuff. and maybe start the other suit.
am I coming over thursday night?

no brett im unfortunately working til 930 pm so we will fuck with it at the track. thank you though man.
let me know about that case.
Thoughts on valve and valve seats? There appears to be a couple small dots of build up on the seats but I really don't have the time before the first weekend to send the head out...they seem okay to you guys? Would you lap and run for a weekend then deal with it before the next or sack up and not make the first race weekend?
Also, as far as cleaning the carbon build up on the valves/head. How important and best techniques? I've seen people put the valves in a drill and run it through a scotch bright pad but that has me a bit nervous...thoughts?

Dunno what to suggest to clean the carbon/etc off. On the seats, lap the valves to the seats and see how they mesh. If you get a nice seat line where it's supposed to be on the valve, you're good to go. If not, well... your call.
Scotch pad to clean everything and try to lap the valves, where are you again? Sean Sweeney can clean up your seats for you and stock valves are what I run and they are cheap.
10 Days and only 8 Untill I get there

I live and work in Boston and I have the head and cylinder with me at my apartment, but my bike and race program stay at my Dad's on the north shore. I'll shoot you a text later today. If Sweeney can get em cleaned up affordably over the weekend, I'll probably go that route. Otherwise I'm going to lap and run em, then re-assess afterwards.

Gonna send you a PM Jay about valves

Oh ya that cute eject system. That will also have to happen at the track
Just renewed my WERA license. It was an experience that many folks 'round these parts wouldn't truly appreciate.
Sent money in. Check was cashed, license came in yesterday. Two whole weeks!!!
All that's left is a water pump rebuild.
