Christian go to bed dude! Bang it all out this weekend. Just stay focus and I promise not to bother you. And remind me tomorrow to send you a case.

the Woodcraft one I have comes with mounting hardware. mark the holes, drill them, insert rivnuts, tighten them down. bolt guard on. I just must have overtighted one of the rivnuts when I installed it last year and it stripped at some point. good thing I safety wired the bolts to each other.

My piston kit didn't come in yet...that means I need to find time to leave Boston a night this week and pull an all nighter installing that. After that I can FINALLY go through the process of getting the motor back in and finishing up the rest of the bike. Besides that, the bottom end is all buttoned up and is smooth as can be. Work has slowed a bit, but with a forced day off on Friday for obvious reason we'll see how next week goes. I'm determined though. Not sure when I am going to have the time to break in the new motor, lets hope I don't get arrested doing so.
As for the valves, I brought the head to my honda guy to take a look. He said they aren't terrible but need to be recut, so under his instruction I will be putting back in the stockers and racing this weekend then getting new valves and a valve job for the following race weekend. He suggested the kibble stainless valves as opposed to the titanium for a bit more longevity so I'm planning that route.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.

the ones from Woodcraft are like these http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-rivet-nuts/=meuo3c
if I had thought about getting them here I probably woulda. bit cheaper than Woodcraft and I probably woulda went with a different kind. but Woodcraft also sells replacements.

There's truth and charm and beauty
And strangeness everywhere
The closer we examine
The more there's nothing there
Nope, wiring's all done, had everything drilled for that last year. I'm trying to make a front fairing stay, I've got a .75" OD aluminum rod that I need to drill a .5" hole into one end, trying to do so with a $19.99 Black and Decker cordless hand drill just isn't providing the results I want.
That's a serious challenge! Lesson learned bike prep for 2014 season starts in early November lol
