04 R6 had some tweaks over 03. The new gixx 6 is a nice bike too.

I can just picture someone goin around a corner and hittin one of these great big MA potholes on that thing.. slipping on the throttle and liftin the front wheel up off the ground and settin it back down.. in pieces.. 1000cc sportbikes can be scaaary.

well if u go the 600 route kham, u'll have extra money for bling bling so u can still pose with the best of them!! no worries.

I have a buddy that rides a 636 Ninja (New ZX-6R). That friggen bike would kick my 750's ass...And the 10R is basically the same...BUT WITH A 1000CC ENGINE???????

i wanna assure you again if i get it, im reconsidering but no promises, it's not to go fasters that the 600. it is for the same reason why even the top notch knuckle heads got the 12R or busa for street ride. i know now that 600 is more than enough for even the knuckle head mention above.

No slick, it's because even though the 636 makes about 15 HP LESS than my bike, it also weighs 100 pounds less. I'll pass the calculator if you need help there. But judging by what I've read so far, I can only come to ONE conclusion...

ok punk listen. that was a joke. im aware of weight ratio and between those 2 bikes i often hear it would be up to the riders.

i wouldn't give you my advice if you beg for it. and for all you know i may surprise you. you can't judge my skill by reading my posts here alone.

I have heard that phrase alot in my 34 years of life Kham. And something tells me, judging by everything I've read so far, there are no suprises you can give except for keeping the paint on the fairings for extended periods of time...

Hey Kham, I am a knuckle head Busa rider that launches my ride hard all the time.
I just got to take my first ride on the CBR 1000 this week and let me tell you it is an amazing bike, excellant throttle control and handling and all the rest.
Problem for me is that it is too light, for my sometimes squidly style of riding and this thing would throw me on my A$$ a lot.
With the design of this bike it really wants to show you the sky with the slightest blip of the throttle.
So practice your one wheel riding and I will stick to my nice and heavy Busa and see everyone at the finish line.
