Wow that sucks...Can you see some paint color on the fender piece that would belong to that car? It might be someone parking there regularly...

sorry, that really sucks man!
if it really was a car that hit you and not some punk kids that just might of pushed it over, it definitely could have been from someone backing up. in that case, you all have assigned parking spots right? shouldn't be too hard to find the idiot who did that.
Sorry to hear about it. I bet your heart dropped into your stomach when you saw that!!!
Was your bike parked at the spot where it was hit, or was it in a parking spot and moved? THe bikes in those pics don't seem to have parking spots?

I hope thats not where you park your bikes all the time? If so it was just waiting for some idiot or drunk leaving the lot to take it out.
I came out on a saturday morning to find my bike over like that when I had my YZF600 a few years ago. Somebody tried to steal it. With the stearing locked and a disk lock they had to drag it and eventually gave up. I came out to find it like yours is, but away from where a car could hit it. When I called to have the cops write a report the asshat gave me a hard time thinking it was an insurance scam. Once he looked at how the bike was and the scrapes in the pavement he came around and decided he wanted to be cool with me and talk bikes. I took the report gave him an attitude and went back inside.
Good luck getting her repaired, looks just to be cosmetic.
Let insurance pay for it.........

I'd be willing to bet it was one of the cars backing out of the spaces between the subie, honda and bug in the first pic. Look for scuffs on their bumpers later. Either way those are shitty spots for all those bikes. There's no better place to park?

Maybe it was the car in parking spot #6, right next to your bike...unless it is your spot..

nobody lives in #6 and the bike has been parked there since i have owned it and never any problems, it has moved to a spot tucked in behind my jeep. I will be doing a bumper scuff check tonight when i get home, then see how their car holds up to my jeep....
so i take it your bike was parked in spot 6 & someone moved it out & dropped it? Or was it parked right where it is in the pics?

(1) lame it got it hit.
(2) if you can, park it ON THE GRASS behind that light pole so there is less chance of it getting clocked by a car. just get a peice of wood / metal etc for the kickstand.

aw man... yeah, that's shitty... Definitely do what you can to find out how it ended up on its side, but also learn from it and start parkin in a safer spot.Originally posted by reiobard

I don't even think i'd park my bike where the other bike is parked in that first pic. I like Chris' idea of parking right next to that lamp pole up on the grass.

or better yet... since I see three bikes in all the pics, get together w/ those guys, see if you can all get one reserved spot for the three of you... looks like you could all back in diagonally up to the curb in spot 6 just fine.
