Yea.. you arent finding that car. They were moving slowly enough trying not to hit your bike that there shouldnt be any paint. I'm not trying to rack balls here, but this one kinda is your fault. Bad spot to be parking a bike that is hard to see when someone has to back up in a tight parking space. I know I'd be cussing at anyone trying to park their bike like that.

Really does suck man. I hope you can find some way to get that fixed cheaply.

ok, you may not be able to tell with the pictures but the parking lot is about 35 feet accross at the spot where the bikes are parked and the bike has been there for a year whenever i am not riding it and not a single person has had a problem with it. i am not mad that someone hit it because i understand that accidents happen. what i am mad at is that they didn;t have the sack enough to own up to their inability to look where the fuck they are going, I don;t understand how you can say "it's kind of your fault" i was inside and this is a motor vehicle. if there was a person standing there would it be there fault becuase it is a bad spot to stand so the motorist shouldn;t have to look where they are going? like i said, it was an accident that was caused by the person driving the car and it would be nice if the people learned to take responsibility for their actions.

ok, so maybe it is a little bit harder to hit your bike just backing up. But what I'm saying is that you park your bike right in the path of a moving vehicle. Your bike is all of 4 feet tall, most people can't see that out of their rear view too easily. Your bike is also a neutral color, also harder to notice. 35 feet... so maybe I wouldnt complain too much about that. But if I was backing up in a smaller parking lot, you bet I would be flipping pissed at anyone who thought they were so much better than anyone else that they should park right behind my car in the middle of the parking lot just making backing up harder for me and everyone else who has to navigate. I completely agree with the running off though. Most people dont realize that these bikes sometimes cost more than their cars. I hope you do find who hit it though, Its never fun having that linger, never knowing who hit your prized possetion.

I certainly HOPE you would choose option one AND option two if possible...but mostly option one....putting the bike back on it's stand and then flying the scene is no better...lol

i understand where fallen angel is coming from but the way the parking lot is set up the bike is not behind anyone, the only thing accross the lot is the other bike, I don't know what condo he is in or i would tell him to move his but the divides are the only things there, last year ther was actually a car that parked where my bike is. like i said i would just rather the person took responsibility, and honestly i would rather it stay on the ground.... it is a 400lb awkwardly shaped machine and if the cager dosen;t know how to pick it up they could have damaged it more.
