I just installed Brembo HP billet calipers with a Brembo 19x18 master cylinder.
Also installed Pazzo shorties and a Rizoma brake fluid reservoir.
The bike is really starting to come together with the additional braking power.
I wanted a challenge to build something close to my R1's performance but with better ergonomics and great looks.

Yea the Rizoma stuff is expensive but holy god do they have some sexy accessories... I've wanted these for a while now

Agreed! Naked (Euro) definitely the way to go. Looks like mine other than the rims and brake upgrade (I also did the R1 fork swap as that guy did).

I like the nekkid looks of the N but there's something about the eyelids on this particular machine which sets it off for me....kinda Gen1-ish....that and the N tail...

Once those Gen2's spool up they sound like the end of the world is coming. Between the intake noise and the 11,500 rpm...it's a rush for the senses.....and you'd better be holding on!

Sort of but not really. From what I understand, that particular map is all set up for those mods.

Thing is, these machines don't need to be tuned to the max in order to perform. A few mods puts them well into the 170hp range.

Just got an FZ1 a month ago. Now I have a map of general direction to take it. I don't have the $$$ to get this far but now I know a bunch of stuff that works. Excellent Bike! Just Excellent.
