I woould look where you might have a support structure.

They may have to exteriorize your collon to make it heal. That could take 6 weeks of recuperation.

I went back to the ER on Friday ebcause I was having really bad lower abdominal pains, but they said they were hesitant to do another CT since I'd had 4 in the last month and a half (apparently that's a lot of radiation).

So... they said wait it out and talk to my surgeon today. I'm sill in pain, but its not severe, so I gues I'm just going to suck it up.

Greerings from somewhere in Nebraska. My mom and I left yesterday at about 7:30 at night. We have managed to dodge traffic in all of the cities we've passed through. Right now we're about 2 or so hours from our first and only stop in Lincoln, NE, which is almost exactly half way to San Jose.

I really don't have words enough to thank Bergs for all that he did yesterday. He busted his ass in the pouring rain to help make sure my trailer was loaded right and the bike was tied down. You really are one of the most stand up guys I've ever met.

No, this isn't an ode to Led Zeppelin. I'm planning on moing to the west coast in March when my lease is up. I can pretty much choose where I want to live/work from the following list. There are a ton more locations in SoCal, but I think I'd rather live farther north, as I have friends in OR.

I know a lot of you are from or have lived in CA, so I figure maybe you can offer some insight around what the best places to live are (proximity to tracks and decent roads). Cost of living is also a minor concern. I make decent money, but will be moving out there alone. Thanks in advance!

I've been all over Cali for work. On the north(ish) side, I really liked Concord. Decent size, great weather, near enough to Oakland to satisfy your big-city-jones, and they had great roads. No idea on the economy however.

So I've been here a little over a year. Still no regrets on moving.

Career wise, I've been promoted twice already and just got the word today that I got the huge promotion I've been waiting for that doubles my salary.

Personal life didn't go as I'd planned (stay single, whore it up) but I did meet the guy I'm going to marry, so I guess I can't complain about that.

I haven't been on my bike nearly as much as I dreamed when I moved, mostly because everything else has been taking up my time. I found all sorts of new hobbies here, like BJJ, kickboxing, rock climbing, etc. Good news is that I'm in much better shape and I actually have a tan.

I really miss New England and all of my NESR peoples. The culture for bikes is great out here, but the quality of the people I've met isn't anywhere near as close, but that's probably due to a lack of trying on my part. Anywho... if anyone wants to move here and has a Series 7, my office is hiring.
