i've used the weed + ladder + tie down approach in the past. worked mint. order is very important.

You can put it on a fork stand in my garage and when you get your wheels back you reinstall them. Easy solution. I'm in Peabody and willing to lend a hand.
Get a Ducati plate for your front pin stand. Instead of a pin, it has a plate with ears to cradle the lower fork clamp.
Use an engine hoist and attach straps to that.
