    Hey Bergs, isn't that a GEN II FZ1? kinda looks like it from the pics...I thought you had a Gen 1? Anyway, glad it wasn't YOU AND that the rider was 'ok'...sorry for the bike man!

    I left bits and pieces of my '03 down at VIR. Insurance wanted to total it more than I wanted to keep it. Got paid, sister found this bike a few months later (with 347 miles on it at the time), I bought it, rode it then turned around and sold it for a house which leads us up to now.

    The rider is amazingly (and definitely) 100% okay. He said he had some bruising but that was it. I mean, you could hurt yourself worse from stubbing your toe!

    Gonna call him later on and get the rest of the story.

    Glad he wasn't hurt, but man, what awful luck. I would be so pissed if someone hit me. Much more pissed if I'd only just bought the vehicle. And much MORE pissed if it was a new motorcycle rather than just a car.
