can anybody make a tool like this? socket size is 1 1/8 or 1 1/4. i don't have the measurement for the spaces. can't take swing arm off. i hate honda.

Kham, that looks like a difficult tool to fabricate, and you'll fuck up the fitting you are removing if you cob it together. Run over to the Honda dealer and see if you can't either buy one, or talk them into lending you one.

yea looks like i'll be stopping by cycle128 everett this weekend. the guy who made that was using dremel tool. i could buy dremel but it would cost as much as the honda special tool. only problem is im only using this once. i hate honda.

I could easily machine it if the socket wasn't hard as shit and chrome plated...
I doubt HSS would cut it, but we could give it a shot if you want...

I made the same thing for Nazo with a dremel and a socket. It took about 10 minutes.

where do you live? I can zip an endmill through the socket twice and be done.

Never tried to mill a chrome-plated anything... think the carbide will cut it?

you don't have one? the one in picture is 1 1/4". or use 1 1/8" then i'll bring the replacement. as for dimension, you think you can go by where the cut is in the picture? let's wait for the weekend then.

I'm in NYC this weekend but could do it some night this week... just buy the socket at sears hardware in Drum hill on the way over. May be able to go on the dimesnions, but what size is the socket in the pic?
