    Here's a suprise...I have a new helmet on it's way...LOL

    FM Helmet, manufactured in Italy, being sent from the UK...

    I usually wear one of two Arai's : Quantum F Okada or Haga, with a 3rd, Quantum e raptor as a back-up, or passenger helmet...

    Now I'll have 4. LOL !

    Heard/read great things about the FM's and the Suomy's. They've been in Europe for YEARS and are starting to appear over here FINALLY !!!

    Heard the FM's fit like the Arai's and the Suomy's fit like the Shoei's. I have an Arai head, so I went with the FM.

    We'll have to see !

    ya I seen that helmet on e-bay and loved the design.But, Since i had never heard of FM I kinda just skimed past it....
    Be sure to let us know how the fit,etc is once you get It woul dbe great to hear how it compares to an Arai....
    I forgets what the cost on are....Geta good deal??

    I tried the FM's at the NY bike show and thought they were suuuuper UNcomfortable on my perfect Quantum-F head. I hope it works out for you since you say you are a Quantum wearer also.
    You cant just say you are an "Arai" head because they make several different shapes. The RX/Quantum, the Astral, and the Signet.
    The New high end Suomy's (not the Gunwind models) fit pretty close to the quantums but the sizing is about 1/2 size off. A well fit Quantum Medium ends up with the Medium Suomy a bit too small and the Large a bit too large.
    At least in my experience.

    I had to go from a large shoie to a med soumy. what i liked about the soumy is the chin is smaller and when i need to look over my shoulder it doesnt hit it like the shoie did plus the graphic are a killar.

    The FM's aren't bad but not great either. I got one last year.. had it sent over from England. Nice graphics but the helmet itself isn't of a top line Shoei or Arai quality but it didn't cost as much as either of them either.

    this is so depressing. all these nice helmets.
    i want a nice helmet but my noggin wont allow it, al i can fit in are the HJC XXXL. maybe i would fit a giant arai, but no one ever has one in stock to try on.

    oh well, tenacious_n2 doesn't seem to mind
