you may have the power wires hooked up backwards. try swapping the mic & power connectors around

this is what i use. no problems once you get everything worked out. the camera will eat through the 8 batteries so i just wired it to the battery on the bike as most people here do.

The setup includes all the wiring you will need, and i believe a diagram showing how to connect everything together. the 8 AA's power the bullet cam and the mic runs off the recorder's battery via the single stereo jack input that is also feeding in the video.

Are you sure you don't have something muted or the volume turned down? (not trying to be rude)

I'm not sure at all, that's why I asked? I'll mess with it some more when my goggle strap mount comes in.

i use the VholdR...i'm not overly pleased with it but im glad i got it....super easy to operate, audible prompts that you can hear even with your helmet on, big slide on/off button that you can operate even with bulky gloves, rechargeable lithium bat, and SD card memory make it a good little camera. vids in my signature.

I've got a helmetcam I'll sell for a few bucks or trade for something I can use. I bought it and never used it because my video camera didn't have the right video input or whatever.
