Hi-Viz poll

Bri got me a nifty zipper from the fabric store today. Gonna sew that onto my crossing guard vest in place of the velcro.

You are way too excited about that vest. I can tell you can't wait to show up at ray-ray's ride with it on.

BTW...this poll went so great, I decided to put together another one for you guys. What can I say...I like polls.

Hey man, you started the thread, not I.

My vest was $10 (or was it $15?!) at the Lowes. I bought it as an experiment. I wear it over my jacket when commuting in Mass. I'd rather avoid the highways down there, but its where the job is and I'm not willing to leave even earlier to take the back way in. So there it is.

I'm not excited about the vest. But I am getting a kick out of your fascination with bashing the stuff. It's like the 'cool kid' table at lunch in junior high. Brings back memories.

I liked the results I have seen with the experiment. I'm not about to scrap my entire closet of riding gear or anything, but I will consider this for future purchases. In fact I just bought a black leather jacket this off-season.

Hi-viz isn't 'gay'. It isn't stupid. It isn't pointless. And it sure as hell won't increase your chances of being hit.
