So I go get some gaz for the lawn mower at the gaz station near my house tonight...I see 1 sportbike rider parked behind me for gaz...I go to him nicely, ask him if he knows about NESR and SRNE...he says "no"...so I tell him it's a sportbike websites for locals riders...and tell him I'll write it down on a paper and give it to him if he want to....he says "yes taht would be cool" . 2 of his buddies come along to join him. As I come back to his bike to give him the paper, the 3 ricans take off right in front of my feet! What a bunch of assholes I think in my head. A guy putting gaz in his car next to me was looking at me, I was so ashame, I went hiding in my truck and left. I can't believe how rude some people can be. Sportbikes riders can ALSO be full of it. What a nice way to greet another fellow rider...

what do you mean? I was just trying to be nice...I can't believe they took off fast like that, being about only 5 feet away from me. Oh well...Jankster, I guess you're right...people on here are better than this.

By the way, I shouldn't have said this in the title, some Harley riders are nice people too. (Sometimes my mouth is faster than my brain...hehehe... ) I don't want to offend anyone. I guess there is assholes who ride all kind of bikes.

I don't know...I don't understand how people sometimes can be such unrespectful of others. I just thought it was very rude and very immature of them. It always amaze me.

I wouldn't worry about it V..screw'em. For the most people are dicks... It is too bad that some of those dicks get bikes, cuz for the most part riders are cool....esp. to other riders.

haha....Kham, in Springfield, the dominance is mainly portoricans. You know, the ones with a "bad ass" attitude? These guys were. I didn't noticed at first, but when I came back to their bikes, I noticed. I wouldn't "adjust" to them (well at least not in the way you mean, with the baseball bat..lol). A lot (not all) of them are not so nice. I've seen some pretty fucked up shit with them, and they come in our neighborhood to steal and provoke shit. I know, I had one of them in my back yard stealing from us, and I tried to stop 3 of them from stealing my neighbor's bike, they laughed in my face. They scare me (well not all of them) so even tho they pissed me off, I say I better shut up for my own health. Lesson learned tho, next time, I will just go my own business.

My childhood I grew up always as the new kid bouncing around from school to school....most of the time it was in very low income areas...boston, providence, woonsocket...to name a couple. A couple of times I was the only white kid in the class and others there a was only a handfull of minorities in the class. In all cases if you mind you own business, carry yourself well and do not start trouble. I have been in a coupld of scary situations in which I found myself in the wrong place at the wrong time but I managed to get away because I kept a good head about myself. This can happen in all ethnic groups it is not the race but more the environment they are in...and mob mentality. You get a bunch of kids that see 1 kid ridding down "their" street and they want to be tough guys and jump the kid and take his bike. Black, white, purple, green....it happens in all of these neighborhoods.

There are bad people out there..hence my "Absolute Evil" poll. In is just convienient to label it on a race or 2. Ever see the movie and documentary that went with it...the "Real Gangs of New York"? How many puerto ricans did you see there?

No question about it, there is good and less good people in every ethnicity. I have/had friends of all kind of backgrounds. I do have at least 2 portoricans friends now that are very nice. Seems like bigger cities attract a vast majority of people, sometimes from one ethnicity more than another, that don't seem to be able to do nothing else but troubles (gangs, etc.). Get out of the city, and their mentality change for the better right there. I don't know nor understand why it is this way but I do know one thing, can't wait to get out of the city.

I don't know nor I understand why it is this way, why big cities attract gangs and problems. But I know one thing, I can't wait to get out of here someday. I got one portorican friend of mine telling me one day taht if I'd go to portorico, I'd be amazed how different it is there, he said it is beautiful, most people work to gain a living, and it's clean everywhere. He said to me that lots of them come here because it's easy for them to get on wellfare and live on the Government money instead of having to work like everyone else. He's also a cop for Springfield city, and told me that we have one of the worse law enforcement force in this city...duh.

Look I was just making a comment as to how your posts came across..... I wanted to make sure people understood you point rather then the fact you are reffering to all but a select few Puerto Ricans as trouble makers and such. That is all you don't have to defend yourself to me.

You are posting on a board with over 600 hundred people on it who don't know the areas you are refering to and solely taking your pots as face value and when you start to refer to PR's as they them and the ones..people tend to lose site of the point you are trying to make and focus on the stereotyping.

I have one question...and really not trying to upset anyone. But what's wrong with the word portorican? It's people coming from Porto Rico? Like I come from Canada, and people will call me Canadian...or "quebecer" to be more precise in my case.

I have one spanish girl friend who told me once to be carefull if I talk about spanish people not to call them "portoricans", because being spanish doesn't mean you come from porto rico and she said it will offend big time any spanish person to be called a portorican...

Now I understood what she said, you're from Spain, you're not from Porto Rico, etc. but what I didn't understand is why a spanish person would be so offended to be mistaken with a portorican? I heard Porto Rico is a beautiful place...so what's the big deal? Just curious, if someone could light up my light...
