New tie down system for dirt & Street bikes that avoid compression on your suspension!!At a reasonable cost.. Looks like a similar idea as to what is used too tow cars the way the set up wraps around your tire. I think I will be giving it a try for my trailer. I will just need to do some minimal mods in order to use a tie down to hold my front tire in the chock. then I may buy some rear wheel locking chocks to avoind the rear ties from sliding.
$65 for the Dirt bike set up, $85 for Street bike set. Sounds like a good investment to me!

I bet there is someone smart enough to make something similar on here using a softer material like the canvas type used for hauling cars.. Anyone have any ideas??

Mike, I think you need the aluminum/metal to hold the bike. A soft canvas/etc isn't enough to keep it upright.
I use wheel straps on cars and trailers that go over the wheel in circumference, but those won't work on a bike tire.
I think what you posted from Kya is the best idea for something different that I've seen.

Workload for sale. Job sale possibility. Caretaker needed for housework and entertaining kids. I need some time back.
A steady job and a family has ruined many a good biker.
looks cool, but i think the biggest problem has always been the ratchets themselves. There has to be something better out there, that isnt insanely priced.
what i do is take the tires off the rims and weld the bike to the trailer...it doesnt go anywhere then![]()
