compared to a car how much does insurance run?

i have my sisters car during winters, cuz she doesn't take it to college. i need something for the summer. how much would insurance run on a mid 90's bike? just rough estimate. with collision and all that shit.

Uh, I user some big insurance company, thru a local agency, I get a pretty good rate (like 450 a year) but I also have only 12 points on my liscence (soon to change ) and my bike's a '93

I cheched Progressive, and Geico. I found out that My good old state farm was cheaper for better coverage!!

I gotta go with Snaggle on this one. I've always had very good dealings with State Farm. But the insurance game up here is a bit different than in MA...

I pay a bit over $400/year for my Y2K Tiller, and I keep full coverage on it year round...

I pay less than $400/year for my big truck, and that's insured for $30K replacement value...

My wife pays less than $300/year for her '84 Corvette...

I can't remember what the Hyundai and Outback cost us to insure, but you get the picture...

Again though, I believe it's a whole other game in MA. Just another reason to move to NH. Degs? Ed? Sean? Leah? We're still waiting!
