    I've actually seen a lot of police DARE vettes. I guess they drive them around to schools to try to show kids that "drugs are bad um-kay".

    If I'm not mistaken I believe that in some rich towns out in Colorado, police have Porsches and other high-end cars.

    New Mass State Police cars??

    It's nice to know that the govement is doing it's part to reduce greenhouse gases by driving an F150 crew cab to do traffic enforcement and the occasional run to Home Depot.

    I want to know where the >25MPG & 130MPH pursuit cars are, where are the bikes that can get >40MPG and pull >140MPH etc.

    If it was up to me the police interceptor would be something like a WRX wagon.

    New Mass State Police cars??

    They also have unmarked Pontiac Grand Prix's. Saw one on 93 just outside of Boston yesterday. No tint or lightbar. Lights were on the rearview mirror and behind the rear headrests. Not sure if it's been mentioned but I'm also seeing more and more new Ford Fivehundreds too. Careful out there. They are getting sneaky.

    All the The towns on Cape Cod have black and white cars now..... so you cant tell what town there from....... Tricky Tricky ...Not sure if they got all new cars or just paint jobs.

    New Mass State Police cars??

    Got pulled over by NH's Aggressive Driving Unit last year. They were in a older Olds Calais. The only sign of being a LEO were the blues on his sun visor that he flipped down once in pursuit. Fuggers even had a tissue box and a Red Sox hat on the back deck of his car...

    New Mass State Police cars??

    did the neon have a spoiler on the back? It might have been an SRT-4 which is turbocharged and has about 215-230HP on tap. For a car that is fairly light it translates to a quick little bugger. I drove one at a Dodge demo day and it was pretty fun for a FWD.

    I think it was an SRT model. I just remember driving by saying, "OMG, I wonder if it's someone I know...then they wouldn't hear the end of it!!"
