Dave wrote the Proficient Motorcycling column for MCN before I took it on (he recruited and trained me), and wrote the popular PM books.

I'm hoping to get to Vegas in December to attend.

I had the chance to meet him a week or so ago at a rally. What an amazing man with a wealth of knowledge.

Realistically, it took several years of effort to finally get Dave recognized. And he was a real innovator. I'm more or less walking in his shadow. Although, I hope my contributions do make a difference.

Your contributions do make a difference. You've got the ability to teach in an un-intimidating and easy-to-understand manner.
