There will still be 2 90's bikes in the stable, so I'm not fully a traitor.

No, he got the boots, see http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/770290-post32.html

He's growing so damn fast. Already in a size 7.5 and wears an adult large helmet.

Not to mention that whatever we get for Annalisa's F3 goes directly on the loan for it.

Was going to list it for $2200 or B.O.

It's been down by the former owner, so there's some cosmetic damage. Mechanically in great shape. 21,400 miles.
Vance & Hines SS2R full system
    Rejetted

Done in April (less than 2500 miles this season):
    New Pirelli Diablo Strada rubber
New D.I.D ERV 525 gold chain & Sprocket Specialists steel sprockets
    Forks serviced by GMD
    New Vesrah clutch

    Runs very solid.

    TA DAAAAAAA!

Well, I finally picked up the new ride. What a difference! It's acceleration, braking, and shifting (thanks, in part, to the hydraulic clutch) are so damned smooth! I'll have to get used to the riding position and the tank, because it's a little more narrow than the 900's is. It's also immediately going to need a DB windscreen, as the stocker directs the wind right at my face and makes my head go everywhere.

Thankfully, it came stock with Pirelli Diablo Corsa sneakers. Should be good once they're scrubbed in.

I can't wait to rip it up to NH tomorrow.

I rode a friends 1000rr and felt the same thing. The narrowness made me slide into the tank and almost lost one of my boys. Very nimble little unit though

It's definitely going to take some getting used to. It's not like the SV that I was able to just jump on it and roll the throttle open and feel comfortable.

Oh, and it's lacking stickers which give it more horses.

It looks so bare next to the 900.

Good choice in year Chuck, yours looks 1,000,000 times beter than the new style Still only a honduh though

What's your plan for tomorrow morning?
I'm heading up to the track as well but I need to stop at Seacoast in Derry at some point on the way. I was planning on slabbing it up but am open for options. I'd like to be at the track by 11:ish

Watching the weather. Not looking too good right now. 60% showers in the afternoon.

Plans were to leave somewhere around 8:00am and do backroads. Up 122, 140, 110, hooking up with 13 into NH to 202.

This will be Annalisa's first ride on the 900, so we'll be taking it easy.
