    Thanks bud.

Y'know Hung, we're still yet to hook up for a ride. You need to hit up one of our Bean runs, especially if R7 is leading.

We keep telling you not to sweat it. You're been riding for a couple of seasons now. You'll be fine.

    I can barely wheelie...

But one time, I did get pulled over wearing shorts and tank top, with my chick on back, also wearing shorts and a tank top... JUST KIDDING!

This will be Annalisa's first ride on the 900, so we'll be taking it easy.
Yup, weather isn't looking great at this point. I'm going to stick with my current plan and play it by ear in the morning after I check the radar. I've got the rain gear packed in the backpack so something tells me I'm going anyways

I also found out that my tank bag doesn't work so well on the new bike. The 1000 has a plastic tank coever, which magnets do not stick too well to.

So, I strapped it down to my passenger's seat and voila, a tail bag.

    best looking liter bike IMO

now get a 190/55 out back...makes a noticable difference in the turn in!

fucken great bike though man I love mine, got it as a left over as well and have about 10,000 on it and its running fine.

    Time to start modding her!

I also may get a 2006 1000RR but cant decide, i have a 2000 ZX12R and love it but maybe an upgrade to a newer bike is in order. Plenty of power so thats not it just a smoother ride im looking for. I am comfy on mine but not sure of the ride on the honda

I actually hit a deep dip on the ride to the races Sunday.

I said to myself, "oh great, first long ride and I'm going to fuck up the rims already."

it came with a 190/50 Pirelli Diablo Corsa on the rear and it turns wicked.

I did this past Sunday. But it will never see the track, unless I ride the Larry Lap with it.

    That's why I bought a track bike.

+1 on 190/55. Get it, you won't regret it. Chuck, got any mods planned yet besides rearsets?

Well, the first of the mods are on:

Puig DB Windscreen (HUGE difference. No wind in my face)
LP Short Stalk V signals all around
    Competition Werkes fender eliminator
    Stompgrip

And thanks to Jay, the stylish blue NESR stickers!

    Still to go:

    Sargent seats (ordered)
    New levers
    Rear sets
    Frame sliders

This bike's going to make me broke, but who cares?

Did you change the stickers to blue? Don't ever remember seeing that combo. Looks nice though, good little accent. Maybe a few other small things in blue to make it pop well that or CF

OK, why a 190/55 instead of the stock 190/50?

The 55 will have a more round profile. This will make turning it side to side a bit easier. You will also gain a little rear ride height.

But I'm happy with it as it is. Remember, I'm, coming off a dinosaur.
