The verdict on the license plate lights: Not too bad.. not the best. There's obviously a super bright spot at the bolts, but it lights up the plate so it's all visible with no black spots. I took a quick camera phone pic, but lost my SD card adapter so it'll have to wait for pictures.

All in all, it's the best solution for now without finding a whole new bracket which I couldn't find up on fleabay anyways!
