Turn 10. At the transition onto the NASCAR track. The funniest part of the video is me going by people on the front strait.

    Did I miss the video?

How did you bin it in T10? Run wide?

BTW, I love the repairs they made to T3 and T10.

Why not Mike? Doesn't matter the size of the bike, it's all about wrist control. From what I've read those bikes are pretty nimble. No it wouldn't be ideal for that particular track but it wouldn't be awful either.

How did you crash in 10? In all my days at Loudon corner working and riding I don't think I have ever witnessed that. Lowside?

Trust me, it wasn't the bikes fault.

Just looks like too much bar input when hitting that transition bump. You need to have 95% of your weight on the pegs when making that turn

Looks like you did a steering input right at the transition bump.

Only other thing I see is way too much gear shifting for a 1400cc bike. You're shifting more than I have to on my 600.

And it appears you're waiting pretty late to grab your downshifts before corners... try to get them done earlier and there will be less moving around during the trail braking phase.

Hit that transition on the gas (maintenance throttle or beginning to open it up) and dont be afraid of going wide to the left part of the nascar oval after that apex- there is plenty of track there to do that.

im not sure what happened but i hate that turn.
it slows me down pathetically. you do shift a lot for 1400cc

If you listen closely you can hear hard parts hitting before that big steering input. I think that's a reaction to crashing rather than a cause of it. But, maybe I'm not seeing what you are. I have watched it 50 times and I can't see anything I did any different than another time. But, I don't have a very finely tuned eye. I wish there was a way to watch frame by frame or slow motion to have that pointed out to me.

About the shifting. I have only been on the track with my 600. I didn't even have a whole open session to adjust to the 14 before I went down. But I did think about it when riding and I tried to adjust.
