Radar Detector

well i already have the radar detector, i have had it pretty much since i got my license, today i decided to take a risk and mount it with superglue, superglued the suction cups right to the windscreen, it works great! saved me from 2 tickets just on the way home from deerfield about an hour ago!

I haven't used a detector in years and can't say one way or the other on if they save on tickets. Ultimately I feel using one it's a perceived comfort and it only matters what the officer wants to do when he/she sees you because once you hear your detector go off, they already have your speed.

The only time I can see these things actually working is when the radar is left on in the cruiser so the signal can be picked up well in advance....otherwise, I can say with certainty I've been pulled over less by not having one.

I'm positive had I not told him I was going to UConn. he would have let me go, positive.

Maybe he is not a UConn fan...and the detector was benign?

lol mine picked up signals from almost 2 miles. dont think the cop even saw me yet
