I feel bad, for the hell the guy's going to go through, but not his bank account. Has worth plenty and the hit he's going to take evEnt even phase him compared to the effect it would have on people like us. For us, it would be life altering. For him, I bet he'd make it back in a few weeks.
And yeah, guy who broke the window with the helmet should have taken one to the chest.

Here is the shocker quote of the day from this event: /sarcasm/
"But many of the plates are stolen or belong on different bikes, making it tougher to ID the motorcyclists."
Fuckin' savages!
I'm certainly not going to pretend that I would do one thing or another if confronted with the situation, but the behavior of the bikers is nothing short of savage, tribal and animalistic mob behavior. That's not racist, it's fact!

Re: Range Rover runs over biker(s)
Wonder how many people saw the video and wondered if that was their stolen bike?

Guy would spend hours looking for you.....

Though Mieses is a Massachusetts resident, he has never had a valid Massachusetts driver’s license for a passenger vehicle and has never applied for a motorcycle license, the Registry of Motor Vehicles said.
Registry records show that Mieses applied for a learner’s permit in 1999 and 2000, but that he never obtained a full license because he failed to pay fines imposed after he was ticketed for speeding in Lawrence in 1999. His last contact with the Registry was in 2001, when he obtained an identification card, registry records show.
Since 1999, he has been ticketed by police 16 times, in Lawrence, Methuen, Roxbury, Andover, and New Hampshire, according to registry records.
In June, the Registry notified the National Driver Register that Mieses was a habitual traffic offender whose right to drive in Massachusetts was revoked until 2017, records show.

No license to operate ANY motor vehicle and ticketed 16 times in 14+ years! Really!?!?!? The sad thing is that this is, likely, common among this group of thug riders whose intent for the day was to purposely stop traffic in Times Square.
Stay classy, jack ass squid posse! :wallbash:
Also, just so we don't forget another very important fact of this story: Many had stolen or misappropriated plates.

Re: Range Rover runs over biker(s)
This whole thing seems like a damn good argument for concealed carry and proves that you just never know when you might find yourself in a tough spot where a bullet or two would save a lot of trouble and pain.

Next time someone asks why do you need more than 10 rounds (or 30 for that matter) I'm pointing to the videos of this.

This and this, and why I carry a backup magazine and rarely my revolver. To the people that think any problem can be solved with six rounds, hell I keep a 33 round mag in the console as well. (and no I'm not Rambo I just really love my family)

Re: Range Rover runs over biker(s)
This story going viral was picked up by the NBC Nightly News with Brian William (link below). As I feared, it does not cast a positive light on motorcycles. I have a feeling we'll all see more intense scrutiny from law enforcement for the foreseeable future.

On a more positive note, below are some pics I took at MotoGP Misano.

Re: Range Rover runs over biker(s)
Yeah. The average American wants to ban motorcycles that go 150 mph and are "powerful" in groups.
This shit just took a wrong turn.
