Re: took it in the rear

Hey note to all getting in an accident:

No one should leave the scene till you are satisfied you
have documented all pertinent info about all parties involved!

Don't rely on the cops or anyone else to do this.
Its hard to remember when your adreneline is flowing
    and emotions are high.

But I know from experience, its real hard to get stuff later due to privacy laws.

QuarterGig good luck to ya. Don't let this situation get you
less than you started with before the accident. It wasn't your fault.

    Update

i got a check from my insurance to pay for the repairs. minus my $500 Deductable. while they tracked down her insurance. i paid Milano pluse adding a little from the old tax return i am getting new exhaust and a power commender.. that should happen this weekend.. i have gone for a few rides and she is running fine.

i got a call today the other driver was insured thru Proressive as well so the $500 check is in the mail and they are looking into paying for the massage theropy i am doing to loosen things back up.. so this is all ending on a good note..

I am adding another bank of Red LEDs to my breaklight and a Back off Flasher unit. I am also looking at getting a mil spec orange and reflective Backpack that Icon makes. but i am willing to bet she would have hit me even if i had been in High Viz Aerostitch.. i will add pics when i get the new exhaust on ..

Re: took it in the rear

Your insurance rates only change if you are found at fault and you get points added to your STEP (or whatever it's called now).

His insurance isn't actually paying anything out of pocket, they'll get it out of her or Progressive.
