Was on my LT on the way home from work getting on to 395 in Auburn MA. I had slowed down to merge in to traffic and got rear ended.
Rear of the bike was damaged, but drove it home. Luckily the thing is the size of a 76' Cadillac or I would have been fucked up. The rear of the bike took and absorbed all the impact
Cops arrived but the chick driving the truck that hit me was not given a ticket, I was pretty surprised by that.
I was totally impressed with how many people stopped to make sure I was okay. And yes, I'm good to go.
Yellow light, green light, heart stands still...
Sorry to hear about this, glad your ok though!!

At least it wasn't a dude that rear ended you.
Glad you're alright.
wow, no ticket for here? You did get a report right?
Really? Make sure you write every detail down then meantime because yeah... I have been rear ended twice (not on the bike thank God) but each time they gave me a report immediately.
Maybe in VT they give reports right away. In NH and MA you have to wait. That's how they roll.
How is it possible for her to not get a ticket? If she was at a proper following distance it wouldn't have happend.
"Following too closely" I think is a citable violation, from what I've heard. You'd think that smashing into someone would be one, too.
You have balls of steel to slow down on an on ramp. F that S.
Sorry to hear u got banged in the rear, real bummer! Good to hear u r ok. LOL
I got rear ended on my ninja a few years ago when I lived in Salem. Same deal... call for the report in a few days. It all worked out, the $ got me a V&H exhaust system since it smashed mine up, and some other little odds and ends. I came out ahead on the deal, the offer the insurance company made me was withing $200 of totaling the bike, and I got to keep the bike. I'll keep the fingers crossed for you, glad you're ok.
