I completed the MSF course this past weekend and now have my license. The hunt begins for a bike (Looking for a GS500) but I want to get my riding gear sorted out before I seriously start looking for a bike.
I have wandered into a couple of places over the past few days and basically been pointed towards the wall of helmets - "They are over there"
Can someone recommend a place/salesperson who knows what they are talking about and can help me find the right one?
I prefer to give my money to a NH business but I'll go into Taxachusetts under a good recommendation.
Thanks
-Mike

Another Satisfied DuncanMoto Customer chiming in here. I've worked at other dealers and could get a better price, but the service, fitting and attention to detail make Ted and Komaki the place to buy a helmet.
ill add seacoast sport cycle to that list as well
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Pm me what you are looking for in a helmet. We have some pretty sweet deals right now that can't be openly advertised.

Here is a NH business for you... Great bay motorcycles in North Hampton RT1. Buy a Street Triple.. Adam is the guy to see about a helmet and a great new Triumph Motorcycle. Tell him I sent you!
IDuncanMoto... But you mentioned a NH business. Seacoast is good too!
How much are you looking to spend, I've got a few arai's with a handfull of uses on them. What size is your head?
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
I like RJ's Motorsports in Nashua (or is it Amherst?).....
Really nice people there.
I love Patricia!!
Welcome I'm in hudson as well. Seacoast is good for NH I've heard good things about RJ's as well but never been in there. Keep us posted as too what u get for a helmet and a bike.
Ride On,

^^I actually MIGHT have a GS500 available soon, '05 with around 6500 miles. My brother just upgraded to a 650R this season so i'm not sure if he's going to be selling his bike now or keeping it
I'm in hudson a well, go see sarah or pat at seacoast and tell them some crazy ginger sent you.
where did u take the course? i drove by the one in ayer, there was a good size group there.

I took the MSF in Concord, NH at NHTI. It was the earliest one I could get into, they are on a 60 day waiting period for Nashua, Manchester, etc.
Thanks for all the info guys, I sent DuncanMoto a PM and I will take a ride over to Seacoast Cycle Sport in the next few days.
FZR - I'm looking to buy, if you want to sell it PM me with the details.
P.S. Reading a lot of your signatures has me thinking about track days. I have some track days logged at NHMS, Calabogie, Mosport, Summit Point, etc but in cars. I always watched the bikes go around and thought they were nuts. Haha.... I think I need to get some street miles under my belt 1st.

You are really going to go to an inferior dealer that won't fit you as good as DuncanMoto?? All over around $15.00 or so?
Penny wise.... pound foolish.
My buddy has a '96 GS500 he is willing to part with. It was his first bike three years ago, looking to upgrade finally. Ready to ride, good shape, $1700. Can get you more info if you need it.

I also just bought a gs500. It's a pretty rad little scoot. at this point my wife (who it was supposed to be for) isn't really showing the shock and awe I thought she would over it, so if all your searching turns up nothing, pm me. But consider me a last resort, kinda.
Another +1 for duncanmoto from me. I got a scorching deal on an arai there. I'll be sending a msg on the next one soon.

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
This is probably your best bet, seeing as you're in NH.
Great people up there.
Disclaimer: not saying any other vendor mentioned in this thread is bad, just further away in location. Both DuncanMoto and MotoMarket are 1st class as well in fitting for helmets.
