I'm out in ABQ for my best friends wedding and I borrowed a friends Gixxahdude so I could get to some of the great ridding here. I haven't ridden out here since I moved back to MA and I actually know how to ride now. So much so the fine public Safety Officer in Jemez Springs decided to give me an award instead of throwing me in the clink. Great weather and I had a blast, great twisties with a beautiful back drop.

Route
I was gonna head north of Santa Fe and loop around the National park but the weather north looked fucking nasty so I just added a run up Sandia Peak.

Best post in a long time. Thanks
Agreed. This post makes me want to get out of this place.
A nice ride albeit hilly would be up to Angel Fire then over to Cimmaron then back up to Eagle's Nest ( awesome place) then downhill to Red River. Big bike meet there too. And a jaunt to Taos Ski area and too the town of Taos and check out that bridge over the gorge.
I don't know how to do that link you did called route.

that is great riding up there but they have been getting a lot of bad thunder storms and flooding. i was pretty careful through a lot of the jemez because there was so much wash out and red clay on the roads. that being said my hips had more than enough after 250 miles on a super sport. i would have had to slow the pace up with more stops.

i did that with direstions in google maps. if you click the blue line and drag it to another point you can create waypoints

Been there and only drove cages in NM so far. Have a brother in Santa Fe and a brother and mother in ABQ. Looks like it would be fun though. where are the pics bro?
