I didn't mean "so what" as in "who gives a shit"....I mean "so what" as in "it is what it is". I'm not sure exactly what sitting back and judging someone does.
And Doc, with all due respect, there will always be someone somewhere that rides out side their limits and that person will have to face the consequences of their decison to do so. There is no avoiding that.
Furthermore, mistakes happen....plain and simple....regardless of skills, speed or what have you.
Respect right back...
As long as they face the consequences I have NO problems. Problems start when they don't and start throwing blame elsewhere (cops, road, bike, conditions... etc).
Mistakes may happen but they can be avoided or mitigated with proper Risk assessments.

So who wants to go ride T**** Rd?

And that's where self responsibility comes into play, IMO.
The thing that got me going is the FNG keyboard-jockying away when the reality of it is MANY of the riders here are prepared and will indeed accept the outcome of their street riding decisions, be it good or bad....unless it involves Kham and an officer of the law....but that's about the only exception. FNG is not in a position to judge by any means.
I'd say it's pretty smart of Kham to want to truck his bike up *just in case*.
(damn, did I really just use the words "smart" and "Kham" in the same sentence?)

This thread went downhill... ride with people who share your riding philosophies and have fun.
Who gives a fuck what others say, especially if it's from behind a keyboard?
