Why no road racing in the states?

Americans don't even like looking at or dealing with motorcycles. The time and money spent to shut down a particular area to create a circuit, then draw enough of a crowd would be a total flop in the US. We'd be the only people there.

It's too complicated for folks in the southern states. Turning right, slowing down, who has time for that?
