Had it out yesterday on local streets. It's unregistered so I didn't take it anywhere I was comfortable seeing 'what it'll do' but 50 came real easy and pretty quick. Expecting that cruising at 65 or 70 should be easy enough...!

Thats the beauty of OLD laws on the book....my Zuma is registerd as a Moped as its under 50cc.....but lack the pedals LOLOLOL ...sorta aGrey are in the laws.

But its CHEAP......

tell everyone the rest of the story, in NH anyway, you need to sign a declaration that the scooter will not exceed 30mph to register as a moped

I wish my wife got into it more and we didn't sell it, but the timing was all wrong on my part. (Not smart when you have a young child).
Now that my daughter is older, I would totally try again on an SR50 if one came along.

How bout, Vespa is Italian for Wasp....but I do like the confusion the plate will create when people see the DNA Fish on the fender...'

Took my Zuma 125 168 miles round trip to Brattleboro Vermont today. Got up to 62mph downhill. I wear a full face helmet and a Joe rocket jacket. I'd rather look like a power ranger than the man without a face. 8 bucks in gas, and room to bring back leftovers/souvenirs, what's not to love?

2 hours and 10 minutes to go 84 miles on backroads. tough to beat that time without doubling some speed limits here and there.

Scooters are so much fun. I have a 50cc and use it to commute to work and ride around the city. I get 109 miles per gallon and love not having to use the clutch in city traffic.
This is the ultimate riding experience for a scooter, I participated last year and had the best crazy fun. Here is my blog entry.
