Thank you for driving all the way back into Boston late at night to help me swear at the no longer running Katana, try to help diagnose, wait with me, and instruct the incompetent tow truck driver who had no motorcycle loading experience...
Bike and me got back home safe and sound.
And you boys that I was riding with that didn't even come back to find me when I suddenly disappeared (you know who you are), and completely ditched a girl near south station late at night, not knowing if I was lying on the pavement, or what, are lame....
But Jim, thanks a million, and I owe you a drink (or two)![]()

Just got home with tow truck...
And guess, what? I fixed it! Posted a thread on the Katana forum, several people responded at this late hour, and lo and behold, there is a circuit breaker right in front of the battery, I depressed the button, reset it, and bike turned, fired right up...
Now the challenge is to figure out why it popped, if the breaker is going bad, or if there is a wire rubbing the frame or somethin'
Hopefully it was a fluke and it won't happen again. But yeah, I love Jim![]()
Jim's MY Hero toobut for completely sexual reasons...
Seriously, Good job Jim!
AND for the boys Lauren was riding with...lame.:
glad everything turned out ok! and lots ofto jim for helping you out.
Girl or not, I can't believe anyone would leave a rider behind like that, especially in Boston. Whatever happened to looking out for fellow riders? Glad it was just a bike issue that kept you back, and not something more serious, but how would they know, and how would they feel?

Hey Jim.
I see that trick with popping the circuit breaker worked out alright.
Did you get her number?

Glad you got in safe. You should pull that radio system thats in there out, I would be willing to bet it's a bad connection in there. If you want, you can use my garage next week and we can time it for when sheppo comes to look at my other bike so there's another set of eyes. Doug?
I wasn't joking when I said wiggle the wire. :-P

Sorry to hear and yes jim is a great guy although he's not talking to me right now since I traded in my crackberry for an iPhone![]()
Live life to its fullest, you never know when you'll get a second chance.
You mean riders on here left you stranded? Props for not posting names and calling them out directly, but I mean I would want to know. Last thing I want to do is go for an all day ride and be left sitting in Maine or something because they ditched.
Real sad.
Ya, +1 for Jim being a rad dude. One night I pm'd him and told him how I had such a rough week...he came over within an hour with a six pack and relieved my tension (if you know what I mean)!!

The radiator on my Tuono failed last year... I called everyone in my phone & Jim was the only one that said he couldn't help me... everyone else dropped what they were doing & came to my rescue.
..... wait, I think I got that backwards.![]()
