So It is time for me to get a new helmet for the next season, and I figured while the current season winds down I saw some good deals.

What do you think?
I like the helmet, but I'm not sure of how good this deal is/how legit it is.
Shark makes great helmets... and these deals are awesome. I may have to pick up one myself.

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
convinced me I am now the proud owner of a bad ass helmet!!!!!![]()
WOW!!!
That took all of 39 minutes.
About the time I got the Shoei and realized it sucked, I bought a 450.00 Quantum from Arai. Then I tried a Shark. Felt like a good one, but they don't let ya head out on the road with it. The fit and finish was pretty sweet, I probably oughtta have tried it.
Shark are excellent. Enjoy! The screen is very expensive...like $80 if you want to replace it
PS
They are legit - I got my Shark RSX from them

Very noice lids, but they don't fit my melon right. If they did I'd jump in on that deal.
after trying on a CRAP ton of helmets, i ended up finding that the Arai Vector fits me best.

Jason Pridmore is sponsored by Shark and I spent a fair amount of time this season fiddling with his helmet (installed headsets, etc) and it was a damn well built lid from what I could see. He said he really liked wearing it so...

Shark is nice, but I'd say try it before you buy. Oddly shaped ( for me at least ), left a bunch of room on top once I put it on- rsr2 model. For reference, shoei x-11 fits me best.

can you buy thicker cheek pads for these? that's my only complaint about mine, otherwise fits perfectly.
I have one and like it alot, paid 200 for mine

The shark RSR2 are one of the best helmets that money can buy....one of the safest and lightest out there that's available to the public...but beware that the sizing can be a bitch and the shell for medium and bellow are smaller so unless you have a tiny head you should probably get a large one or above.
question for those who know the shark brand well:
if i get an RSR2 in size XS, then replace the cheek pads with size S versions, will the end fit be the same as an original size S?
wasn't sure if the shell and foam size of the XS was smaller than the S.

I got an RSI via the OP's link. Nice helmet. Fucking amazing helmet for the money I paid for it!
The fit's good overall, though it's just a little bit tight in the ears. First long ride I took with it, I wore earplugs and sunglasses, and the pressure of the helmet on those made the sides of my head ache after a few hours. It's already getting better though as the liner packs out a little.
Interestingly, though, the anti-fog coating isn't as good as the one in my Scorpion EXO 700.

Agree with Mark. I have an RSX and the fit must be for a more oval head (and mine is really not that round). I feel my cheeks squeezed - initially I thought I would need to return it becuase I was afraid I was going to bite on my cheeks. With time it has become better. Overall, they are supposed to be on the level of Arai, Shoei, etc...
ive had one for awhile now.. my only complaint is the thickness of the chin .. doing look backs is tough (hits shoulder) flipping the visor up is hit or miss.. went through a tunnel with my tinted shield on and couldnt flip it open .. shit my pants lol .. other than that the rsr2 is sweet
