I picked up the RW&B one and it looks to be a very good investment. I'm thinking about having Landric's BoMo paint it to the colors they're painting the SV's plastics and tank. One thing about the ad though, the photos show a dark smoke visor, but it comes with a clear visor and a pack of tear-offs. The visor has two screw-on tabs to hold the tear-offs.
First impressions:
The fit is definitely different than the pair of Arai Corsair V helmets I have. I may need to get the thicker cheek pads. The helmet may get looser as the cheek pads break in.
The stiff foam at the crown of the head is interesting. It's not a solid piece, like the Arai, it is "striped" the length of the helmet. I'm assuming that this allows for the the foam to give a little during an impact to soften the blow to the head.
Pros:
- It fits my head very well.
- The visor is awesome. Thick & clear as hell.
- Finish is incredible.
Cons:
- Not crazy about the adjustment for the visor. I like the ratcheting of the Arai to keep it in certain places.
- Both fog shields are a pain. The small one doesn't stay in place and the large "race" one makes taking the helmet off a little difficult.
hot damn that r/w/b is nice and would match my leathers and future paint job nicely. but I really don't need a third helmet.

2006 Red Triumph Daytona 675
i just picked up one of these in the fall. freaking awesome helmet, excellent fit and finish. the visor is awesome. beware replacement visors are between 70 and 90 bucks. $249 is a steal, this helmet is better in quality and feel than most 600 dollar helmets youll buy. take a look at the sportbiketrackgear video about the construction of the helmet too...maybe im a sucker, but it makes sense to me. im convinced its one of the safest helmets out there.

But it is a $600 helmet. Well, MSRP is $600.
Visors are a bit pricey. I like the dark smoke and the best price I found was $71, shipped.
The fit is also much different from the Corsair V I have. I had to get a set of medium cheek pads, as it shifted left and right. So, what started off as a $250 helmet, turned out to be a $350 helmet.
