The turn signals on the DR200 don't work, don't blink but they will light up.
This shows the relay (21) but does not tell me where it is located...
So I looked at the wiring harness. Under the seat are what I thought was 2 relays. The two prong (I thought turn signal relay was a 3) that if I take it out the turn signal lights go out. It looks to me like it was number 18 on here because right next to it was the fuse assembly (10/11), but number 18 says its the fuel relay. And....I don't know what the fuse in the fuse assembly does....
So, before I go spend $50 on a relay that I am not positive is the problem...what the fuck does that fuse do? And how can I be sure the relay I am pulling is the one for the turn signals since this does not show me it's location?
playing devils advocate. Have you changed out all the bulbs yet??? one bad/intermittent bulb can do what you say.
all the fuses do us protect the wiring to whatever device they're in front of. if said device shorts, fuse pops and the wires don't heat up, melt, and/or start a fire. i have no idea what the fuel fuse is for, but i'd bet the relay for the blinkers is up front in behind the headlight plastic.

i have no idea.... it's not fuel injected and everything else should be mechanical and or vacuum...does it have a low fuel light?

That one is under the seat next to the rear fender.

It only has two prongs? I was very confused when I found the circuit breaker on my XT350, as I had never seen one before on a motorcycle. It was a small black box, with only two prongs and had a small red plastic cylinder looking thing that would pop out when the circuit breaker tripped, allowing you to reset it. Any chance it is something similar? A picture of what you actually found would be really helpful.

Ah, definitely not my idea then. Does it say anything on top? That look suspiciously like the "relay" pictured in the first diagram, but what if it is a flasher unit, not a relay? That explains the two wires maybe?

usually its a sign that something is cross wired. did you just put the turn signals on?
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Well the wiring harness schematic says the relay is a fuel relay, but that made no sense to me. Tested it and replaced with a universal. Now the stock relay was a two prong....no ground, but the universal did not work until i wired in a ground. Installed lights and it works!
