What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.
Wwwwwwow....
Does my SV have reverse, too???

Have to be careful with those old cars, lot of money gets stuffed under those hoods.
In the beginning, listen to that '57. Sounds like it has a bump stick big enough to be made by Louisville Slugger.
That is a very quick (and clearly awesome) car, but it's not like an SV650 is a demon on the drag strip. They run high 11s/low 12s right? Thinking a ZX14 would be more evenly matched and I'd love to see that race.
Annnddd... the video is gone.

Please do it. That way when people ask me how fast it is I have something to tell them.
"Eh, they can do xxxish in the quarter."
People understand that, that don't understand motorbikes.

Well with TLRMan dipping his toe back in the 1/4 mile game, I just may.

Let's do it. I'll bring either my girls bike or my fat old man's bike.
Fixed video.
I haven't been to the strip in probably 8-10 years. I remember having an 03 R6 (the faster one with the black flame bodywork) and running an 11.3 @ 125 mph. Also had a 1998 R1 that I had a best time of 10.4 @ 137mph. What was surprising to me back then, was the number of older street cars that drove into the place and were running in the 9-10 second range.
I'd like to go up again sometime, just can't do it during the week. Maybe a Friday night, or Saturday test & tune day..if they still have those?

What a boring place to ride.
Guy I used to work with had a high 8 second car that was "Street legal". And that was without the bottle. You could hear that thing from a mile away. These cars go like hell in a straight line, don't ask them to turn or stop though...
