new tag
Is there a hint for this new tag?
The sign isn't enough?
even enhanced, I can't read the sign.
Maybe you can read it because you already know what it says, but the rest of us see scattered black and white pixels.
To me it looks like "POSTMAN flog WILMUS 5wm,mm"
How does that sort of clue keep the game moving along? I mean I told you guys the town and road names, and even an address
The name of this place translates to "the land of the hereafter".
There’s just engineering, skill, and luck.

-1997 Honda CBR600F3 - sold
-2011 Ducati Streetfighter S - current
The entire game is supposed to be a challenge, I thought anyway. What's the sense in just giving out the names and addresses of these places?
For instance, where was that Flying-A gas station located?
How about that random tree near Harvard?
Part of the challenge is to find the answer however obscure it might be. Look at the first few tags in this thread to see what I mean.
Here is one of the game rules
In my opinion the first batch of tags were horrible and not at all easy to find.Give a few hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located.Make the clues clear and easily understood.
Check some of the tag-o-rama threads on advrider.com for some great examples.
Off to get a new tag.
And for the record, I only knew your tag was the Ponemah Bog because I recognized the sign layout and the purple splotches since I've been here a few times. No one that wasn't already familiar with it would have ever found it without outside help
As for the Harvard tag, it wasn't my tag. It took me two weeks to figure out where it was
Fair enough.
This seems to have resolved itself. Nice.
EVERYTHING is a repost

To further explain, I only gave the address of one tag, and I only did that because on my way out, I saw another trail head to the same park, and thought that my tag may be a bit ambiguous.
I also figured it'd be a bit of a haul for some and that I should make it an easy one to find, since most of the NESR riders seem to be within the Metro Boston area. I hadn't realized there was life near the MA/NH boarder. Going forward, I will not give so many obvious "clues"

I keep forgetting that my sarcasm doesn't work in a forum without smileys.
Get to it guys! I'm addicted. I need to get more tags...
Maybe I should make up a new NESR user just to tag my own tags
If i get a chance to get another tag, I'll make sure they're further south to keep things moving along
