Blowing it out of proprtion is expecting him to be tried for attempted murder.
Expecting him to be held accountable without it being swept under the rug is different. Not taking his license is a blatant slap in the face to anyone who has ever swung a leg over a bike.
I know they say ride like everyone is trying to kill you, but this takes that to a whole new level.

Yes, I would be happy with giving him a 90 day suspension on his license. And perhaps making him attend a road-rage/anger management class.
I don't beleive that him paying restitution alone will teach him a lesson. This is because he's 18, doesn't work, and was driving a brand new car when the incident happened. So I don't think he fully grasps the whole "money" thing of it.
I don't agree with the whole trying him for attempted murder, making him clean a bar at Laconia, etc.

I agree, the kid pulled a stupid move and having him be punished accordingly is not asking too much i think. He needs some sort of a suspention of his license at least for a short period of time to show him and everyone else things like this will not be tolerated.
He was definitely lucky that he didn't kill the guy!!
If you speed three times in MA within a year you get 30 days.

Maybe you missed the part where I stated "...one driver felt they needed to block another from occupying the space in front of them."
That is where the similarities are drawn.
The driver in front feeling like they are going to save the world when they impeded the progress of another motorist. Regardless of what other laws may be broken, one driver is making it their mission to block another. Whether or not vehicle contact was made is irrelavent in my post because I'm stating how similar this is to people who feel the need to try and block other motorists in order to forfill their self-righteousness.

Blah blah blah... trying to draw a conclusion where none exists. One involves not letting someone cut you off the other striking another vehicle with your own as it attempts to pass. You're just trying to take a jab and it's not working cause one does not follow the other nor do the intentions. I'm sorry it pisses you off that other people don't allow others to be assholes to them in a legal and non violent manner. Actually I'm not sorry.

Well pitch forks are historically dangerous tools. I would propose they be outlawed because the sharp points pose a hazard in large crowds.Originally Posted by obsolete
Same with the torch. It does not appear to meet any national fire codes. So I use a grill lighter to control the effect.
When the mob is really mad I can shake the rake to make loud noises and turn the grill lighter up.
Conversely when one person is yelling from the crowd some kind of insult I cab safely lower my rake and turn down/off my lighter to elaborate upon the tone of the somewhat angry but now semi quiet mob.
But yes, lame is where I aim.
That way mediocrity is AWESOME!!!!
The only similarity between not allowing someone to cut you off and side swiping another vehicle that is trying to pass you in an open lane is that you are both driving.
No sand here, I just think his attempts are trying to draw a conclusion where one does not exist to take a jab and fulfill some feeling of superiority. Doesn't bother me, I'm just pointing out the silliness of it.

Bergs POV is a loooonnnnggg stretch. I can just barely see it if I squint so hard my eyes are nearly closed. Adding sand will make it dissapear completely....
