At Laguna Seca on Cannery Row I saw about half a dozen MV's. At one point there was 3 randomly parked within eyeshot.

On the otherhand I only saw ONE Honda Hawk

Nooo, redline is likely 14, maybe 14.5

I was reading an article recently that said tachs are now like speedos - OPTIMISTIC

People like to believe their bike is revving high, so they make it look that way. Generally they are off by at least 1K according to roadracingworld.

Sweet, I remember seeing it there too.

That was the ONLY nesr ride I was able to go on, and I sold my bike shortly thereafter. It looks like I lucked out, because I saw enough (unique, at least) bikes on that ONE ride, than I had ever seen in entire riding seasons past (for me, 2 years).

I'm lucky enough to have a friend that owns one (F4-750) that's next to his heavily modified R1, and some ancient Triumphs, etc.

It is pure art, and handles to match. If you want to keep up with the big dogs you need to add 2 to the sprocket, but apparently it'll outhandle most stock bikes.

Mine would have to have this very cool CORSE paint job....
