I dont have leather pants, so my legs got pretty cold, and my neck/shin

Snow on the ground... bike is up for the winter.

I rode yesterday, it was pretty cold at 10 pm going home.
Rode my bicycle today: might be the last chance to catch the joggers along Storrow Dr. before they bundle up like Eskimos till April...
Yep, no snow in Burlington but go 5 miles east and there is snow.
Although the Duc has a nice arse warmer the tires don't stick all that well and I don't own a dual sport anymore.
Season OVER. (now the wrenching begins)

Yup I ride almost everyday now. Ya know, in the summer you don't mind the rain, BUT when it's 40 and raining, I choose the truck now..![]()
Still riding...I ride year 'round, cuz you get a few of those days during winter that are ok for a ride (even if its a short one!) I keep my eyes peeled for the sand, etc. and I'm good to go.
Which reminds me...what undergarments do you wear? I use thermals, turtle necks, thick socks, balaclava, etc., then the leathers and gloves. Anyone use the new stuff? Those that "wick" away moisture, etc?
I am. Low 30s when I left this morning. My Fieldsheer Adventure gear rocks. All I need is a better set of gloves.
underarmor cold gear or something like that
NOT Cotton.. Cotton kills...when it gets wet it sucks the heat out of you..

I tried the new 'Ski Doo' Technical under clothing. It works good !! before that I used regular thermal underware ie: the old waffle pattern.
'sposed to be high 50's to 60 today...you guys will have a warm(er) commute home!
Yep today was a balaclava day.
Damn scooter won't start so I'm on the 600.
I go all winter unless its icy or salty out then its in the cage.
Double layers on the legs now.
I wear a gortex and wind proof fleece seems to do the trick.
I've stayed away from electric stuff so far, though many seem to swear by it.
I just dont need it that much and dont want to complicate things coming off
the wiring harness.

under armor cold gear worlks wonders. I picked up a set ($50 for the pants, $40 for the shirt) at city sports. I wear it under my work clothes all day and since my office is cold, it actually feels pretty good.
