I don't know, I kinda like the red seats. I've always liked the color combo of the '98 R1 and this is close.

The only thing I'm surprised about is its an odd year, 09, which means an R6.

I agree and I honestly wanted the R6. I love the looks of the white/silver R6 The odd year R6's I had were 99,01,03...and the even year 06

saw one at Freedom a few weeks ago (black), its pretty nice. i cant tell if they made the exhaust bigger/stick out more or the tail is smaller (combo of both?). needs some aftermarket for the pipes.

The bike has .5 miles on it and reads .5mpg

There's a lot of odd but cool features on the instrument pannel.
Throttle opening position display, Drive mode, gear indicator, average fuel economy and instant fuel economy to name a few

Something about spending $8,500 for a dirtbike to get thrashed on rocks and in mud kinda swayed my decision. My KTM is fine now and if/when it decides to grenade, I'll worry about a new KTM then...or hopefully Yamaha will step up and make the WR 450 street legal

Congratulations, what a cool bike. I'm not normally a huge fan of liter bikes but I gotta say this is one of the most interesting machines to come out in a while. Will be interesting to see if this engine configuration spreads to other manufacturers and engine sizes. Also can't wait to hear one in the flesh.
