I saw the red/white R1 yesterday at Enfield Motorsports (CT). I must say, it is edgy looking. Must be a hoot to ride.
I also saw the new ZX6R. Man, it makes my 05 look porky. I HATE the look of the front fairing.
not sure it would be my 'choice', but honestly I like the red seat with the white bike...thing is awesome!

Nice looking bike man.
I want to see and hear one in person !
But to add to what Ken was just saying about the ZX6R. I'm not sure I'm a fan of
the new trend to make the front ends look bug eyed. I like the new R1 except the front head lights.

you can't take it for a day but we can swap at some point on a ride
engine =
handling = sharp
brakes = to new to tell
Seriously though, having not been on a sportbike much in the last year and riding mostly SuperMoto's, anything over 275lbs is going to "feel" like a tank as far as handling and braking.
The motor is impressive so far even though I havn't been above 9-10k with it yet. The V-twin feel is something I need to get used to, everything from the shuttering when taking off from a stop, to the vibration during excelleration, and the sound. My last R1 was smooth as butter everywhere so I'm not used to having vibration.
Just over 100 miles on it now. According to the economy mode, average fuel economy is 29mpg.
I'm hoping for a nice afternoon tomorrow to go for another ride
