Who Waves

The scooter crash thread has brought up a question I've had lately.

I've noticed less bikers waving to each other lately, and because of that I've only done it on group rides, or if they wave first.

Let's here you're input & why

Ill wave to sportbikes. Ill wave to Harley riders if they wave first. I wont wave to scooters under any circumstances.

1. Since I got my KTM I've seen far more Harley riders waving to me than when I had my 636.
2. I was very disappointed last night, I borrowed Wookies Harley for my first ever adventure on a Harley, and I waved to the only other Harley I saw and that prick didnt even wave back.

i liked when we all rode to the Bean and we came up to a big harley group. Denno stood up on his pegs and made an obnoxious wave to them, just because he knew they wouldnt wave back

I wave to everyone I can. Sometimes even scooter riders if they are dressed well and being smart riders. Alot of my waves are a helmet nod instead of a hand gesture.

it is fun to see who is leaning on their bars and who is not..

The best is when I am trailering to the track and everybiker I see on the highway beeps, waves or gives a thumbs up....especially when they see its a girl driving that truck!!

I try to wave to everyone but only if it is at a safe point. It is something I have been doing since I was a little kid on the back of my father's bike. Kinda sad to see fewer and fewer riders return the wave these days though.
