I've got an ongoing neck issue (not to mention the second rotator cuff surgery next week) and wouldn't mind some support holding my big head up on the track, anyone wear something like this? Thanks,
Brace

I can tell you it will not help your looking up... the back of my helmet hits my speedhump when I am looking through turns.

i'm not an experienced rider at all, but this may make your riding experience even more difficult than helping. If anyone on here ever used to wear a cowboy collar or neck roll in football knows that it helps on a hard impact but is extremely uncomfortable. but if they're not too expensive maybe buy it and try it out to see how it feels for you.
If you ain't first you're last!!
In a car, you're not looking UP while turning your head. I think it will be unusable. Tony tried his leatt brace and could barely get back to the pits! Dianese is supposed to be releasing one that works for roadracing.
But anyway, the idea of these is NOT to get in the way, but prevent hyperflexion. Anything that actually helps you "hold up your big head" will prevent you from moving the way you need to IMO
I don't think the type of injury that those prevent is very common in road racing.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Ive had neck trouble for years!! no more a therapist & see showed how to Stretch. How to Stretch - wikiHow
IMO dont use them may cause a trouble restraining your neck.
PS DONT TRY THIS IF YOUR INJURED. I HAVE A BOOK that shows you how to stretch when your necks fucked up. Look around the net you will find one

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
Beet don't make me break out the "I'm with stupid"... ah what the hell.
Just kidding, thanks but I've been going to a chiro for years trying to stave of fusing vertebrates together and just go thru periods of pain, all set on stretching. As a matter of fact that illustration is the wrong way to stretch your neck with an inflamed disc, its tilt your head from left to right. the rotate thing is fine if your spine is in working order. Its manageable pain, I'm just trying to keep my flexibility thru "middle age" and on.
