how was everyones riding weekend?

Mine rocked

i met up with nick (noodles) took me on my first trip to the kank on sat and wow! it was even more amazing on a bike! we did alot of back roads as well... most that i never have heard of. and continued to ride sunday! we averaged about 800 miles!

Great weekend here. Cookout Saturday, ride with Annalisa and Ethan (my son) today. Hit up the Bean (for our $10 per person food) and did backroads through north-central CT to get Ethan home. Stopped at Quabbin Reservoir on the way back and snapped a couple of shots off. (too tired to post right now.)

Oh, and we managed to get a couple more larger items out of our garage too. Eddie took possession of the mountain bike and bike rack that have been sitting around collecting dust for years.

Went to the Cape for the blessing. Had a blast with the Cape Crew AGAIN. No tickets, no offs. Did not see one LEO the entire ride, must of been a breakin at the dunkin donuts. 425 miles of fun.

ah....maybe that was what I saw gathering at the BK rest stop on 24 when I was on my way to work.

I worked the entire weekend, and now I am burnt...physically and mentally. But it was still good, I got to ride in circles for hours on end!!

Hit Vermont on the DRZ. Some of the most fun I've ever had on a motorcycle. Did a couple of laps on the App Gap, explored a couple of new roads, and took a few dirt shortcuts. Great day.

Maine weekend, Friday-Sunday. Kennebunk, Augusta, Bah-Hahbah, Acadia, Rockport, Rockland, Portland and so on and so on. I was on a hunt for the world's greatest Lobster Stew. J's Oyster in Portland wins the ribbon.

A nice chunk of scenery is about 100 mile stretch of Rt. 17 from Augusta down to Rockland. Also the Acadia region. Ah, hell, the whole trip was nice scenery, even riding the slabs was ok. It would seem the police have disappeared. Didn't abuse the privledge TOO much, but still. Even the slabs were devoid of L.E.

My wheels were off the FJR for new tires, so while it was apart I did a drive shaft maintenance.= no riding for me. Still beats yardwork!

Spent all weekend doing a custom tail chop on an 04 Ducati Monster. Nothing quite like taking a hack saw to the sub frame!

Rode dirty sat and sun. Rescued hikers who started on mt major and ended up over 3 hours of hiking away on the far side of mt anna. Apparently the blue trail is not marked in well yet this year.

Haha, yeah it was a rough day out there, glad you guys made it out.

I did about 400 miles sunday, Rode 2 west to 91 north to meet a friend at Curtis BBQ, then rode 9 west, 100 south, then route 2 east. Once I got back, did about 50 miles 2 up for a Newbury Pose, haha. First long ride on the Daytona....not the most comfortable bike, but once we hit the mountain rodes it really came alive, most fun I've ever had.

Hurtin at work today, thats for sure.

rode the Miles-Standish forest in Plymouth 3 times, made it down to Colt State Park in RI for the first time yesteday. And some general cruising around Quincy.

I have 30k and only change the shaft lube what else do you need on an fjr? Did you burn rear tread motor breaking like me?

I rode the ninja a few hours this weekend between other things and found out about that bottom muffler hot foot! ouch! Better than the roasted oysters on a hot day on the FJR before my heat fixs.
