What a great weekend.

My neighbor took me to his secret road: full of twisties and elevation changes. Watched MotoGP qualifying and the race and; finally but not least got a free bike from Chuck.

I rode the DR650 up to Jolly Roger's MX park and watched the kwad races. 88 miles each way. That is about the farthest I would ever want to take that bike in its stock form.
I have got to do something about that seat!

Does anybody have an inexpensive old seat laying around that I can experiment with? Preferably with a straight-ish style base (stepped types look like they would give me problems)....

Regarding the FJR . I was not refering to changing the lube.(i also did that) The bikes come from the factory with little or no lube on the driveshaft splines. ,Remove the wheel, the 4 acorn nuts and the pumkin will slide right out with the shaft. There is also a u-joint that should be lubed with honda pro-moly. You can get to that by taking off your footpeg and two plastic covers. Sorry if this was off topic but its important. Dwayne
