The 600rr (like the F4i) and the 636 need some major tweaking to handle correctly for really twisty stuff and racing. The R6 handles right out of the box.
Now, I'm not trying to be mean here, BUT if your 636 was an R6 you MIGHT not have had that spill you had, worth thinking about.

i think what really happen was i had a little too much input on the bar while leaning far enough plus combination of little more throttle and tire and kaboom! it was stupid.
i also believe if the tires had little more grip and possibly a different suspension setting i would probably be ok.
now you peek my curiosity.![]()

I'd get a 1000RR. I'd don't know what the new release price is going to be, but the thing is supposedly very insain.

My Vote hands down is the R6 for sportriding.
I took my cousins 01 down to Deals Gap in May and absolutely loved the way it handled. Yamaha improved them even further for the 03 and 04's. If I can sell all my bikes in the spring except the RC I would pick up an R6 as my second bike. That would be the balls on the track!![]()
My second choice would be the Kawk ZX10R.That looks like a great all day / all weekend warrior, plus all the power you'll ever need! A liter Sport bike with comfort all in one package! Nice!

HONDA SUPERHAWK- The Rodney Dangerfield of sport bikes
1) More of an upright riding position than the repli-racers
2) Enough HP and torque for two-up or luggage carry
3) You can't BEET the "streetability" of a twin
4) Semi-naked!
8) Overlooked which makes it a rarity( there have been many times that I would have the only VTR1000 on a crowded night at Lowell Bike Night as wellas other times).
9)The seat and bike itself is narrow, more so than F2 I sold(almost dirt-bike-like)
Noooooooooooo respect! I tell ya... I gotta agree with ya on all cept I haven't been on the track and I usually seen 1 every time I go riding, and one thing you forgot was smooth carburationIt's the closest to my '01SVS in handing and ergos

Since I'll be returning to squidlyness after my race license expires, I'll be buying myself one of the new liter bikes. Pretty sure it will be a ZX10.

I think I'd get a ZX10R too based on the limited reports I've read and the spec sheet. Seems like a tough bike to beat (on paper) and I think it looks very nice in blue. That said, It'll be a long time before I wear out my 9R and I have no desire to get a another sport bike right now.
