I posted up in the other thread, but I might as well post here too. Great meeting all the new faces, and seeing all of the familiar faces again. It was a fun ride, but I agree with R7. People should read the group ride rules before going on our rides. And the stand up wheelies and pavement surfing show put on by one rider in particular was just fuckin stupid and didn't impress anyone. This ride was intended to be a spirited romp through some fun roads with level-headed riders, not a fuckin Star Boyz audition.

For those of you who decided not to join us on the last leg of the VT loop, you missed Wayne-o getting wet, and some fat hippie breast feeding her little hippie baby. Sorry, no pics of the hippies, but then again, you'd have to be pretty fucked up to want to see that.



By the way Lee, I loved your hand gesture when we passed those dirty hippies on Rte 30 that were holding up the "Peace" and "Stop the War" posters. I couldn't stop laughing in my helmet for at least 5 or 10 minutes. All in all, great ride today.

I too got caught in the rain, but I was very happy about it because I needed something to cool me off a bit after baking in the sun all day.


Also, for anyone looking for a ride report from me on the Suomy lid,
Praises:it was very comfortable all day, much lighter than my Arai, no whistling noises of any sort, and had fair ventilation.
Complaints: ventilation was not as good as my Arai, there seems to possibly be a face shield fitment issue because when I was riding in the rain, even though I had closed all of the vents, I still felt some water spray on my face every once in a while, and the inside of the shield will fog up if given the right conditions, as it did when I was caught in the rain.

Verdict: I would take the Suomy over my Arai on any day execpt a rainy one.

I had a blast today despite all the Traffic, Next time I lead the fast Group I really will go faster. And as far as 8A?? Looks as if this past winter did a number on her. Those tar snakes slowed me down. But overall I still love that road.

Oh & I stayed dry the whole way home. & As soon as ai got home after my 350 Miles I packed up my gear and played hockey for an hour with friends, then had a few beers and then smoked up my BMW tires doing donuts in the rink parking lot.. Wooohoo what a fun day I had!!!

I'll be around to ride next weekend, one day to the track to watch the races and another for a nice spirited ride with some of you guys, just not the poser doing crazy wheelies, and asphalt surfing. I thought he seemed like a good guy until I was told how he was riding... Dont draw un-wanted attention to our rides... I am out to have a good time tearing up twisties, not out to watch a stunt contest. I better not get pulled over because of you, or even worse you cause a mishap and crash, how are you going to feel then.. If you want to ride like that dont ride with me.....

i only took a couple of pics today cause my battery was shittin the bed. I had used it all weekend and forgot to plug it in. This shot is from the NH stop to wait for Tim. Yea, I knew ahead of time I shouldn't comment that "my ass hurts," so I'm leaving that part out. First 300+ mile ride on the VFR, and it was great.

Awesome tearing up the roads and meeting everyone, and if that REALLY was the "slow" group I was in, damn curious to find out how the "fast" group was riding!

Too bad whoever the wheelie guy is wasn't with our group, two seperate times some kid on a BMX came up and asked us to "pull it up." (no, the BMX wasn't on the highway)
