Last Sunday's Ben and Jerry's ride was a wash out. Six of us tried...we really did! Left Seacoast promptly at 8:30 but by the time we got to Manchester it was pouring AGAIN. As I pulled in to Sullys (near the Popcorn Stand in Goffstown) one of the riders went through a puddle which turned out to be an 8" deep pothole! Slow motion tip over ensued breaking a mirror, front brake lever and upper fairing. We helped him limp back to Seacoast on his rear brake and went to breakfast in Derry!
SO...gonna try again Sunday, June 3rd.Here's hoping for cooperation from the weatherman. Watch for updates as we get closer.
Go to Home and click on "Ride With Us" for details. (BTW...this ain't spam. We just meet there and they are nice enough to post up on their web site and sometimes provide coffee and donuts!)

Constantly checking weather and it is suppose to be nice untill 6pm. So the whole ride as of yet is still going to be dry. high 60's until noon then mid 70's until 5pm. So thumbs up still.

Well, we made it this time! Left Seacoast just about on schedule and by the time we picked up three more riders, (1 in Goffstown and 2 in Henniker), we had 11 bikes, 11 riders and 2 passengers. Thanks to Paul for getting in early with the coffee and donuts! Much appreciated.
After an hour of mist, the weather got pretty good with clouds but dry roads and traffic that wasn't too bad. The pace was friendly and we got to Ben and Jerry's around 1:30!
I had myself a Sunday then slabbed it home to watch the MotoGP. Drizzled most of the way home and the temp dropped about 20 degrees the last 30 minutes!
The new Olympia Suit works great! Hope everyone else got home safe and sound!
Remember - June 16th. Short, but fun ride to NHIS. 1/2 price admission to the races courtesy of Seacoast!

Got home around 5:30-6pm. Rained on Jeff and myself for the last hour. Got home good, just wet, cold and a little sore. Nothing a super hot shower couldn't help. Will get the pics email as soon as I load them up. Thanks for the ride and look forward to the next one.
