Ok so with the help of Half Squid a route has been determined
Spot 10 on the map will be the lunch spot
I am still figuring out which way we will run the route. Either hit NH and VT on the way to lunch or on the way home from lunch. I am open to sugestions.
Sorry about the big picture but I wanted the detail to be there

Do we have an estimate of hours for this ride?
Also my vote most likely goes that we head west first, then north after lunch, as those of us coming from NH may want to break off in, say Keene or Peterborough without heading back south.

Sounds like a good idea. I will have a better idea of the time tonight as I am going to run this route today
where's the meeting place/time?
"fuckit!"
Once Dave determines a time for a main meet spot and time I will put up a meet time for a Framingham meet spot and departure time.
The ride home will get people back to 119/2A, Rt 2 and 495. I will be taking 495 depending on the time back, heading to Framingham. If we get back with plenty of light I will take some back roads from around the corner of Moto Market thru Stow, Marlborough to Framingham....

All right Kham I got to lay into you.....I got a ticket on 13 in Goffstown but that does not mean I'm never going to ride 13 again. Stop whining about your Stow ticket just ride smarter. I was pissed becuase the cop was sitting exactly where he always does I just was not paying attention and just getting up some speed for the sharp left hand sweep I love.Originally posted by Kham

So Victor (vaa) and I took a test ride on the route. We picked up route 62 off of exit 26 on 495. We followed that for a whole lot of milesIt is a very scenic route, it is a very heavily populated route in certain spots. Then we connected up with 202/32 up near the top of the Quabbin, this is a high speed road with a few good turns in it. Towards the lower part of the western side of the quabbin we connected on 116 then headed north. At that point we found this place

But then we saw this on the door

They open at 4 during the week and we got there at 1:20
We were bummed as we were hungry, but as we were sitting in the lot and I was checking my email, I think it was the owner who came out and said that we were early. At this point I said "well, you should open early because we are hungry, He said hold on a sec, went in, then came out and said that the grills were on because they were prepping food for a funtion so what the hell. That was soo cool of them, so we went in for lunch
SCORE!!!!!
So the ride before lunch was ok, it was not the twistiest roads but it was scenic.
Then the after lunch ride came....
We continued on 116 for a little bit then it became really funWe hit a really twisty section for most of the 116 experience. Then we turned onto 8a, and this road is just awesome. Once we got up to the top of 8a and it turned into 100, we noticed it was getting a little late so we hooked up on route 9 and then slabbed it home on 91s to route 2east
The weather was awesome for a ride today, good thing I was able to take the day OFFto enjoy the ride. Thanks Victor for comming along
We did 300 miles today

Good time today. Day started out kind of slow w/cooler temps and plenty of cagers on the road but after lunch was another story. Empty roads and great weather. 8a is great, as was 116. Should be another good long run on the 23rd. Thanks for letting me tag along Dave. I ended up hitting some more backroads to get to my parents house in Waltham. I ended up with ~380 miles after the ride back from my parents. Almost time for another oil change!!
Holy huge sign-up for the ride Batman!!
Looks like this might need to be split into groups again....![]()

Bub's BBQ is AWSOME! I stopped there once with my daughter for lunch this summer after we went strawberry picking, the menu is not very elaborate but if you are looking for an excellent pig roast sandwich or pulled pork, you're gonna want more when you're done! I have to go back!![]()
